Three Oregon cities make it adventurous

I always think of Portland as an adventurous place to live. Forget the rain. People here walk, bike, run, and spend time outdoors all year round.

Mt. Hood is an hour away. The beaches are an hour away. Walking trails, hiking, you name it. Portland has much to offer- but it didn’t make National Geographic Adventure Magazine’s top 50 best places for the adventuresome to live.

But three Oregon towns did make the cut:

Hood River, Oregon
Coos Bay, Oregon
Klamath Falls, Oregon
